Willi’s Wine Bar
Willi’s Wine Bar is a large dive bar off of Old Redwood Highway, elegant but casual. Even though it is a dive bar it is a pretty classy place and somewhere a college student would have to save up for it they wanted to enjoy it right. Personally I felt as if I was on a culinary adventure. They have a wine and cheese paring option on their menu which is one of my favorite parts. You pick out three cheeses and they give you three wines that perfectly match with the flavor of the cheese. It was amazing. My date and I decided to sit in the outside seating area which was gorgeous with fountains, white twinkle lights, old wood fences that give the place a rustic feel. We ordered the pork pot stickers, the king salmon and the charcoled fries. Everything tasted amazing, each one had a different flavor but some how went well together. For dessert (which is always my favorite part) we chose the choclate chip bannan bread with icecream surrounded by pudding. If you mouth isn’t watering it should be… It was to die for. Such an amazing assortment of flavors.
